Two of the Netherlands’ most exciting underground house selectors land at Quarters.
Utrecht’s Locklead has built a reputation around tough, groove led house music that sits somewhere between raw club pressure and deeper, more expansive sounds. A key name across SlapFunk, Dungeon Meat and Up The Stuss, his productions are sharp edged and textured, while his sets move effortlessly between heady, stripped back cuts and silky house rollers.
Joining him is longtime friend and fellow Dutchman Julian Anthony. A seasoned selector with roots in the Utrecht underground, Julian brings a playful, genre-blurring approach to the booth, weaving funk-fuelled house, raw electro and forward thinking techno into energetic, progressive sets. His sound draws on both new and old, with a particular love for the character and groove of classic house records.
Between them, expect deep grooves, heavy drums, raw textures and plenty of movement. A night rooted in the Dutch underground and built for the dancefloor.
